Every year at Scissett, staff, pupils and parents support many charities. We support local, national and international charities. Pupils suggest and chose charities that have a special meaning for them and we support these also. Our local charities are the Forget Me Not Hospice in Huddersfield and a local food bank The Welcome Centre, national charities include Macmillan Cancer Support, Red Nose Day, Children in Need and Sports Relief our international charities are the Project Dukem, a school in Ethiopia and supporting pupils and their families who visit from Chernobyl.
